Lightning can indeed strike twice.
Columbus Lodge 2599 celebrates two published authors in their midst!
Paola Nanni-Tate has written instructional books for everyone who wants to learn Italian since 1994, but her love for teaching the Italian language to eager students began “since I could first talk!”
Graduating high school at 16 and college at only 20 years old, Paola has taught and inspired students in Italy and America for many years.
Her first book “Italian Verb Drills”, was published in 1994. She’s still going strong with her 7th instructional book, entitled “Advanced Easy Step-by-Step Italian” (McGraw-Hill) which will be in book stores this Fall. Paola’s books can always be found at Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble and in catalogs that sell language books. For the titles of the other books contact Ms. Paola Nanni-Tate direct @ firstname.lastname@example.org.
With a career spanning over 30 years ago as a commercial illustrator, David Cuccia only recently began writing and illustrating bilingual children’s books. Published in 2011, his first book “There’s A Crazy Dog Under the Palace!” and the newly-released sequel “Who Ate the Gelato?!” both enable children to discover the concepts of friendship, second chances, and just being yourself through the eyes of animals in Palermo, Sicily and across Europe. Both books can be found at CucciaKidsBooks.com and will soon be available on Amazon.com. You can contact David by calling 614.370.0501 or by email @ email@example.com.
