The King is alive and well and man o’ man, can he still put on a show!
Dan Moyer opened as John Lennon and put on a wonderful show, capturing the spirit of Lennon, his music and his major contributions to the Beatles sound … the Cadillac Band played tight, memorable backup arrangements that precisely echoed the Beatles influence on the 60’s and 70’s and brought back some great memories and had everyone dancing!
From the moment Walt Sanders took the stage as Elvis, he was rockin’and rollin’ and mesmerizing the audience with his homage to the King.
His uncanny knack for capturing the subtle nuances of Presley’s personality are what truly made this show enjoyable from beginning to end. From the earliest recorded tracks such as “That’s Alright Mama” to songs found much later in the King’s career, Sanders ability to mimmick the Elvis style kept toes tapping and memories flowing!
Several members of the audience were stunned by Sanders incredible ability to sing such award-winning songs as “How Great Thou Art” and were singing along to this classic.
